Sure, the Glyde has a big gift screen, but it really doesn’t feel like an iPhone at all. Phones.

I’m customary to eschew the often-made iPhone comparisons for this handset. Sure, the Glyde has a big close to screen, but it really doesn’t feel like an iPhone at all. It’s sustained and lozenge-shaped, with a 2.8-inch, 240-by-440-pixel touch screen on the front.

The big promote in cellphones is for a more refined market - you can tell because so many now come in a variety of colours. Three changed LG phones come in basic black, but also offer other colours, such as pink, suggesting that their makers are focusing on women. Apart from that, cellphones are still being stuffed with features as genderless and as unlooked-for as ever. Handset makers are leap-frogging each other in an exploit to see how many services can be stuffed into small packages, with diminutive regard for what men or women want with the exception of shape and colour. A good authority is struck by a new phone - or three models of one - from LG, announced hindmost week.

The LG Vantage, Venus and VU are updates of older models all featuring lay a hand screens similar to Apple’s iPhone, with attention paid to a very attractive menu. The Venus (Telus) has a “slider” configuration, in which the movies slips up to reveal a telephone-style keypad. It offers two LCD screens, the pinch one controlled by a touch screen below it, which in turn, offers functions that predominantly crowd the keypad, thereby simplifying the keypad. The VU (Rogers) has ditched the keypad in encourage of a full-length virtual QWERTY keyboard.
